Explainer Videos Are Short and Sweet

Most explainer videos run about 60 to 90 seconds, just enough time to tell a complete story with a beginning, middle, end, and a strong message. They’re quick to book, enjoyable to record, and yet, despite their brevity, they demand skill.

As a professional, I often charge between $300 and $500 for one explainer video project. It might only take ten minutes if I’m recording solo, or up to 45 minutes in a directed session. But don’t let the short length fool you, short voiceover narration doesn’t mean easy.
